Extraordinary Dishes of Polish, Highlander, and Hungarian Regional Cuisine

We are pleased to invite our guests to taste dishes from Polish cuisine, as well as interesting specialties from Highlander and Hungarian cuisines. Our menu includes game meat, such as venison and lamb, as well as pierogi with bryndza cheese, blueberries, lamb, and mushrooms, veal, Hungarian pancakes with goulash, fresh saffron milk cap mushrooms in season, pan-fried trout, and broth with dumplings. Additionally, we offer pizza baked in a wood-fired oven.

Complementing our offer are exquisite wines from Hungary, Italy, and Israel, as well as kosher Passover plum brandy. We warmly welcome you to our regional restaurant in Kościelisko in the Kościeliska Valley.

History of the Harnaś Restaurant

The restaurant, founded by Jan Słowiński, a distinguished court chef from Eastern Lesser Poland, is a place with a rich history. After arriving in Zakopane, Słowiński opened his business here, creating a unique venue in the Kościeliska Valley. Despite the destruction during the communist era, we managed to restore it to its former glory. Today, run by Janusz and Magdalena Dawidek, Harnaś Restaurant warmly invites guests for an exceptional culinary experience.

Miejsce super na wypad w góry. To wiadomo. Ale nie każdy wie że pani, która jest właścicielką gospody jest przemiłą osobą, a posiłki serwowane w Harnasiu to mistrzostwo świata. Tak zrobionej jagnięciny próżno szukać w wielu miejscach na Podhalu. Reszta też na najwyższym podium kucharskim.

Serdecznie polecam dla amatorów góralskiego jedzenia. Kwaśnica z jagnięciną, szaszłyk jagnięcy i pierogi z grzybami robią robotę (uwaga: specyficzny smak i zapach dań z jagnięciną, nie każdemu może pasować – ale to specyfika tego mięska). Mój syn uważa, że to najlepsza restauracja w PL.
